Welcome to Lisa Braun Photography! Although I have been a life-long lover of the arts, I began my photography journey shortly after moving to Cape Cod in 2009. Currently, I reside in Harford County Maryland near the Chesapeake Bay, but I was truly inspired by all of the beautiful landscapes, beaches, sunrises and sunsets while living in Coastal New England. Seeing the joy of photography come to life for me there prompted my husband to give me my first DSLR as a gift, and I have been honing my craft ever since.

With the ever changing dynamics of photography, I feel I will always consider myself a novice of sorts. However, I hope to continue to learn and grow and always enjoy the challenge of finding new subjects, experimenting with various equipment and learning new techniques. Currently I specialize in natural light landscape, portrait photography, macro and fine art photography. I am passionate about creating stories with my images, and I am drawn to dynamic colors, dramatic landscapes and bold subjects both in architecture and in still life. (As I upload my photographs I will usually post all of the settings I used to capture the image as well. I do this because when I was a new photographer I often wondered about those things myself, and I am passionate about helping others along as much as I can.)

All of the photographs on my website are available for purchase in print, canvas, metallic and acrylic formats and can be shipped anywhere in the world. They are however limited, as I only produce 200 copies per photograph. If you are interested in an image, contact me directly as I like to personally work with you to choose the size and format that would most benefit the space it is being hung or the taste of the person it is being gifted to. I only use professional printing services as this ensures that you receive an archival worthy piece made to stand the test of time. Contact me for details via email.

As an avid supporter of arts in my local community, I am a proud member of the Harford Artists’ Association and enjoy exhibiting my photography at their gallery in Bel Air, MD. I also enjoy donating my photographs to local charity events that benefit causes I am passionate about such as the Baltimore Community Tool Bank and the Bel Air Drama Company. In February 2018, I was also honored to be chosen as Harford County Living’s Artist of the Week!
