I am thrilled to announce that a new addition will be joining our family shortly! My beautiful daughter Michelle is expecting and due in the next few weeks! To commemorate the occasion, I recently had the pleasure of photographing her and her husband at the beautiful Liriodendron Mansion in Harford County, MD.
The winter weather hasn’t been kind to us here these past few weeks, so I used the clouds to my advantage and went with a very atmospheric vibe. Photographing at the Liriodendron Mansion was the perfect location to achieve this look. Thankfully, we encountered no events or other photographers on this date, and we were able to utilize the grounds and their amazing patio without any competition. (Photography tip: always check the venue’s event calendar prior to your session!)
Once we achieved the more “formal” photos of the session, we moved down to the grounds to get a colorful contrasting backdrop for her beautiful black dress! Truthfully, these turned out to be my favorites of the entire session! (Photography tip: For these photos I used a Canon 6D 24-70mm lens with apertures of 2.8-3.5.)
